Viewing Servers and Their Details

IP MODULE MANUAL ADDITION TO LIST OF AG SERVERS

Generally, the UDP broadcasts are not forwarded; hence IPModules not on the same physical

network will not be discovered. However, the option is provided in the MCSI client to add, query and

map ports from such modules.

1. Select IP Server from the left window.

2. Right Click and Select Add IP Server.

3. The IP Server screen is displayed.

4. Enter the IP Address and Server Name.

5. Select the Type – For IP module, SEIP must be selected.

6. Click the Add button. A new entry will be made in the AG IP Server Tree.

By clicking the Add button, a line status query is sent. If the IPModule exists with the necessary

configuration (AG Server Enabled) and responds to the query, the line status window is displayed.
