Modem Numbering
In the Web interface, the modem tabs correspond to internal modems and use the numbering scheme shown in the
illustration that follows. The row of LEDs shows where the front of the unit is. Disable unpopulated modems as described
in Network Setup.

Connector Description
GSM Antenna
Connector (s):
1 for the SF 100;
1 – 4 for the SF 400;
1 – 8 for the SF 800
SMA (female) antenna connector for a cellular antenna.
Note: One antenna must be attached for each internal modem in order for them to be
operational.
Ethernet
(LAN for the SF 100)
The LAN (SF 100) / Ethernet (SF 400/800) port connects the MultiModem iSMS to your
Ethernet network-connected PC.
+9V to 32VDC [SF 100 only] The SF 100 power source can range from 9 volts to 32VDC.
Power Receptacle [SF 400/800 only] Connection for standard power cord (provided).
COMMAND [SF 400/800 only] A DE9 port for direct command access to the SF 400/800.
Reset . The Reset button resets the unit to factory settings, which includes deleting any existing
Address Book entries, SMS User account entries and any sent or received SMS history.
This Reset is the same as performing the "MultiModem iSMS Factory Defaults" option
found in the Administration menu. Press and hold the Reset button until the Status LED
turns off, and then release it. Do not press this button unless you want to restore all
settings
