6.7 Laser Classification

6.7.1 Integrated Distancer, Measurements with Reflectors (IR mode)

General

The EDM module built into this product produces an invisible laser beam

which emerges from the telescope objective.

The product is a Class 1 Laser Product in accordance with:

• IEC 60825-1 (2001-08): "Safety of Laser Products"

• EN 60825-1:1994 + A11:1996 + A2:2001: "Safety of Laser Products"

Class 1 Laser Products are safe under reasonably foreseeable conditions

of operation and are not harmful to the eyes provided that the products are

used and maintained in accordance with the instructions.

Maximum peak radiant power 4.12 mW ± 5%

Pulse duration 800 ps

Pulse repetition frequency 100 MHz

Beam divergence 1.5 mrad x 3 mrad
